Professional Life
Wade first studied Psychology in college, but during this time, he took two acting classes and felt inspired. After some time in the corporate environment, he decided to follow his dreams and pursue acting. He studied at the Howard Fine Acting Studio and graduated from the Joanne Baron/ D.W. Brown Studio in Santa Monica.
He debuted in 2010 in Anger Has a Secret, where he was credited only as Boy #2. Between 2010 and 2011, he took part in various short films, such as Manifesto, Lance Armstrong, Antidote, and Just Another Lost Soul. In 2012, he was in The Last Act.
In 2013, he was in Chasing Shakespeare, Ricky, Road to Juarez, and Eat Spirit Eat. In 2015, he played Derek in This Is Happening and also appeared in Victor.
2016 saw him cast in the sci-fi time travel show Timeless where he played Nicholas Biddle. He also appeared on NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
In 2019, he was cast in For the People, followed by Who the F Is Mike Young in 2020.
In 2021, Netflix released the series Jupiter’s Legacy, where Wade played Fitz Small in all eight episodes. Fitz Small, also known as The Flare, was one of the original and most valuable members of the Union of Justice. Small had the power of flight and energy manipulation, but at the time the series started, he had become retired and is paraplegic. Nevertheless, he is distinguished by his skill in invention, being the tech guy for the Union. This marked his first time appearing in a central role on a big-budget production.
In Jupiter’s Legacy, he was seen alongside cast members Ben Daniels, Elena Kampouris, Gracie Dzienny, Ian Quinlan, Josh Duhamel, Kurtwood Smith, Leslie Bibb, Matt Lanter, Tyler Mane, Tenika Davis, Meg Steedle, David Julian Hirsh, Conrad Coates and Andrew Horton.
In 2021 and still ongoing, the actor took the part of Lt. Wes Soto on SEAL Team. SEAL Team is a drama series on NBS and has been recently renewed for a fifth season. Wes Soto is a recurring character among an ensemble cast. It remains to be seen what other future credits the actor will gain now that he has had a breakthrough.
