About Henry Lloyd Hughes
Henry Lloyd-Hughes is an English actor. He has appeared in a variety of films and shows but is best known for his role in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and as Sherlock Holmes in The Irregulars, the 2021 Netflix production.
Lloyd-Hughes is the son of actress Lucy Appleby and Timothy Lloyd-Hughes, a bank executive. His brother is the actor Ben Lloyd-Hughes, while his brother Theo is a record executive. His cousin is Fred Macpherson, singer for Spector.
The first role for Lloyd-Hughes was in Murphy’s Law, a TV series in 2004. In 2005, he played Roger Davies in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, a role that would help him get noticed thanks to the wide popularity of the franchise. In 2007, he was in Unrelated with Tom Hiddleston. Between 2008 and 2010, he had a recurring role in The Inbetweeners, playing Mark Donovan, a bully, a role he would later reprise for The Inbetweeners Movie in 2011.

Henry’s mother is actress Lucy Appleby, known for her role in A Stitch in Time, released in 1963. His cousin Fred used to be part of the band Les Incompetents and Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man, currently appearing as the lead singer for Spector.
Unlike other adaptations of the character, the Sherlock Holmes played by Lloyd-Hughes remains a mysterious figure throughout the season of The Irregulars and is less involved in the plot.
The actor has been linked to different fantasy franchises, like Dragon Age and Harry Potter. Lloyd-Hughes has appeared alongside his brother Ben on screen.
