Andrew Horton is a trained classical singer as well as an actor. He attended the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and the University of Exeter.
Professional Life
Horton began acting on stage. He took many roles in different classic productions, such as The Merchant of Venice, Tartuffe, and others with the Richard Burton Company. After the play Merrily We Roll Along, the actor transitioned to the screen and got a role in the short Ladies First, which premiered in 2016.
In 2017, Horton was featured in How to Talk to Girls at Parties. This film was an adaptation of a Neil Gaiman short story and involved big names like Elle Fanning and Nicole Kidman.
In 2017 as well, the actor appeared in It Came from the Desert, a pulpy action film that drew inspiration from classic monster movies. Here he had a bigger role. The same year he was cast for a small role in Doctors, the popular and ongoing medical drama series.
In 2020, Horton was cast as Brandon for Jupiter’s Legacy, Netflix’s superhero project. This was his biggest role so far and showed him as a breakout star too.

Jupiter’s Legacy is an adaptation of the eponymous comic by Mark Millar. It focuses on a group of superheroes who have been protecting the world for a long time, but who now find that their kids, meant to uphold their legacy, are struggling. This brings into question a lot of things. Horton plays Brandon Sampson, the son of Sheldon Sampson, the lead character played by Josh Duhamel. Brandon is also a superhero known as the Paragon, but when he seemingly kills a man, the characters must grapple with the consequences. Jupiter’s Legacy was meant to be a more mature, dramatic superhero project that could play against shows like The Boys and Invincible. The series received an animated spin-off titled Super Crooks, done in the style of Japanese anime.
Horton is set to appear in Slotherhouse, a project that is currently in post-production.
