Professional Life

The actress started modeling when she was just five after she won a contest.

Dzienny auditioned for Supah Ninjas and got the part when she was in high school. She appeared as a main character on this show that ran between 2011 and 2013 on Nickelodeon, focused on three teens who become ninjas under the tutelage of the deceased grandfather of one of them. The series ran for two seasons and featured actor George Takei in a starring role. Amanda McKay, Dzienny’s character, was a popular cheerleader who joined the team by figuring out their secret identities. She is also a romantic interest for main character Mike.

In 2014, she appeared on Chasing Life. Then, in 2016, she got a starring role on the CBS drama show Zoo for the third season of the series. Zoo was a show focused on violent attacks of animals on humans and the mysteries associated with this situation. Dzienny first appeared as a guest character, called Clementine Lewis, but was promoted to main. The show ran for three seasons.

2017 saw Dzienny joining the cast of Bumblebee, the movie based on the popular Transformers franchise. The film aired in 2018. Dzienny played Tina Lark, the mean classmate of the main character Charlie.

In 2021, Gracie appeared in a supporting role in Jupiter’s Legacy, the superhero show from Netflix. She played Ruby Red. Her character was a superheroine with the ability to create psionic armor. She was also the ex-girlfriend of main character Brandon Sampson, also known as Paragon. Jupiter’s Legacy was canceled after one season but received an animated spin-off titled SuperCrooks, which is also set to receive a live-action adaptation. Jupiter’s Legacy itself is the first adaptation of the comic by the popular author Mark Millar. The series received mostly positive reviews but was not renewed for a second season.

In Jupiter’s Legacy, she was seen alongside cast members Ben Daniels, Elena KampourisIan Quinlan, Josh Duhamel, Kurtwood Smith, Leslie Bibb, Matt Lanter, Tyler Mane, Tenika Davis, Mike WadeMeg Steedle, David Julian Hirsh, Conrad Coates and Andrew Horton.

2021 also saw Dzienny cast as Elinor Fairmont in First Kill, a vampire drama. This role is meant to serve as a series regular.

Dzienny is a musical theater fan. She has trained in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop. She started since she was only five and continued to do so throughout her childhood.

Her sister is Cassie Dzienny. She is also an actress, as well as a model and choreographer. Cassie has appeared in The Morning Show, Joe Pickett, and is set to be a part of Inventing Anna, to be released in 2022.
