Kunal Nayyar is an Indian actor born in England. He is best known for portraying Raj in The Big Bang Theory and was part of the main cast throughout the series’ run.

Nayyar married Neha Kapur in 2011. He got a business degree and then a Master of Fine Arts in acting.

Professional Life

Nayyar started his career working in ads in America and plays in England. He got attention thanks to his role in the West Coast production of Huck & Holden in 2006. The same year, he co-wrote the play Cotton Candy that premiered in New Delhi.

In 2004, he had his first film role in S.C.I.E.N.C.E. In 2007, he first appeared on television in an episode of NCIS.

He shares his birthday with Johnny Galecki, his Big Bang Theory co-star, although Galecki is six years older.
