His early life and career beginnings

Jesse’s parents, Emy and Barry Eisenberg, raised him in East Brunswick, New Jersey. His mother, Emy, teaches cultural sensitivity in hospitals while his father, a former taxi driver, teaches sociology in college. He has two sisters, Hallie and Kerrie.

While a senior in the Professional Performing Arts School, New York, he had his starring breakthrough in the film Rodger Dodgers, which prevented him from pursuing his academic goal at New York University. Instead, he opted to study anthropology and contemporary architecture at The New School in Greenwich Village, NYC, majoring in liberal arts.

Jesse’s anxiety disorder affected him, and he began participating in plays, starring in children’s theater productions called Oliver, and at twelve, he was understudying various roles. In 2010, he portrayed Mark Zuckerberg in the film, The Social Network, which earned him the National Board of Review of Motion Picture’s Best Actor Award, and nominations for Golden Globes and other industry notable awards.

Jesse’s snowballing acting career saw him co-star as Blu in the box office animated musical adventure comedy film Rio alongside Anne Hathaway. They also featured him in one of the film’s soundtracks, Real in Rio, nominated for an Academy Award Best Original Song. He has also written for plays, composed music, and authored his first book; Breams Gives Me Hiccups, a short humor pieces collection.

The brilliant actor has accomplished so much in his career and is currently working on many exciting projects, collaborating with charity organizations, donating proceeds, and will star in the sci-fi thriller Dual, filmed in Tampere, Finland.

His personal life

Jesse married his longtime girlfriend, Anna Strout, in 2017, and they have a son, Banner, born in April 2017.
