Aarti Mann is an American actress. She is best known for her roles in Heroes and The Big Bang Theory.

She was born Aarti Majumdar. The actress is a first-generation Indian American. She graduated with a degree in film writing and directing from New York University. She is married to Purvesh Mankan, in finance, from whom she borrowed the last name for her artistic career, and has a daughter named Nikita.
Mann started acting in the 2000s, beginning with a series of small roles. In 2006, she was in The Memsahib, a film directed by her sister Kruti, which prompted her to start taking acting lessons.
She appeared in a Volvo commercial and in the series Quarterlife, which aired in 2008. In 2009, the actress appeared as a guest star on Heroes.
Mann was cast as Stephanie for the pilot of Paging Dr. Freed but did not appear in the final version.
In films, she was in The Punching Dummy in 2007, Ner Tamid and Today’s Special in 2009, in Pox and Worker Drone in 2011, and The Monogamy Experiment in 2012. In 2015, she was in Danny Collins, and I’ll See You in My Dreams. In 2018, she appeared in Love Sonia and sharon 1.2.3.
In 2010, she was in The Young and the Restless. In 2010, the actress would play Priya Koothrappali, the sister of main character Raj Koothrappali. She would appear between seasons four and five and feature in twelve episodes total, and serve as a love interest for Leonard, played by Johnny Galecki. Priya is a ruthless attorney who contests the roommate agreement drafted by Sheldon Cooper and who has a relationship with Leonard, although several misunderstandings and some cheating later, this relationship ends. A source of jokes is the need to hide the relationship from Priya and Raj’s parents, who would not approve, and first from Raj as well.
In 2012, she was in Leverage. In 2013, she would appear in the second season of Suits, Wendell & Vinnie, and Scandal.
In 2015, Mann would be featured in NCIS: New Orleans. In 2017, she was in Grey’s Anatomy.
In 2020, she played Jaya Kuyavar in Never Have I Ever and also appeared in All Rise.
Aarti Mann is set to be featured in Samskara, currently in post-production. She has also been announced as part of two unnamed projects, one featuring Noah Centineo and one featuring Alec Baldwin and Kelsey Grammer.
Mann grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Shady Side Academy.
She narrated the audiobook How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild, and Got a Life.
Mann auditioned for the role of Divya for Royal Pains.
Both her parents are physicians. Her mother is an obstetrician and gynecologist. However, she and her two siblings went into the arts. Her brother Nishad is a journalist, and her older sister Kruti is a film director and screenwriter.
