Professional Life

Posehn began his career with guest appearances on television. He was in Mr. Show with Bob and David, which ran between 1995 and 1998. He would appear in 28 episodes. In 1996, he had a guest appearance in Friends and, over the next two years, in NewsRadio, playing two different characters. In 1998, he also appeared in Seinfeld and got the opportunity to write an episode for Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.

He was in 29 episodes of Just Shoot Me!, which ran between 1999 and 2003. In 1999, he was cast as Jim in Mission Hill, an animated series, which would run between 1999 and 2002. Between 2002 and 2003, he played Del Swanson in 3 South. In 2003, he provided his voice for another animated series, Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
