Lisa Vanderpump is a Reality TV star, restauranteur, and actress. She is best known for appearing in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules.

Vanderpump is married to Ken Todd, who is also a restauranteur. They got married in 1982, and they have two children, a daughter and a son. Vanderpump is the stepmother of Warren Todd. Her brother is Mark Vanderpump.
Lisa Vanderpump has been the owner of 36 restaurants, bars, and clubs between the United States and the United Kingdom. This ownership was split with her husband, Ken. Some notable businesses include The Shadow Lounge, Bar Soho, SUR Restaurant & Lounge, Villa Blanca, Pump Restaurant, Tom Tom Restaurant & Bar, Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, and Vanderpump à Paris. She designed several of these restaurants and has been active in managing them, though not all of these have remained open. For instance, Villa Blanca has closed.
When she was just 13, Lisa Vanderpump made her film debut in the film A Touch of Class, released in 1973. She would also appear in Killer’s Moon and the series Kids, alongside Naomi Campbell. As an actress, she would go on to appear in other series and programs between the 70s and the 90s, such as Silk Stalkings and Baywatch Nights.
In the 80s, Lisa Vanderpump was featured in music videos like Poison Arrow and Mantrap. She would receive another feature in 2014’s video for G.U.Y. by Lady Gaga. The actress would also appear in over a 100 commercials for different leading brands, such as Maltesers and Lilt.
In 2010, Vanderpump became an original cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the successful Bravo reality series. She stayed for nine seasons but departed in 2019 after a scandal with co-star Dorit Kemsley. This series brought her a lot of public recognition.
In 2013, the Real Housewives got a spin-off titled Vanderpump Rules, which featured Lisa Vanderpump and the people working at her restaurants and bars in Los Angeles, mostly aspiring actors. The same year, she competed in Dancing with the Stars.
In 2021, Vanderpump got a second spin-off, Vanderpump Dogs, which focused on herself and her dog foundation, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation. Her latest appearances include Almost Royal in 2016 and American Housewife in 2020.
In addition to TV appearances and restaurant management, Vanderpump released a homeware line. In 2017, she was named editor-in-chief of Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine.
Her restaurant Villa Blanca fed homeless people for 13 years each Monday.
In 2011, Vanderpump released her book Simply Divine: A Guide to Easy, Elegant, and Affordable Entertaining.
March 1 is Lisa Vanderpump day in Beverly Hills every year, and in 2011, she received the key to the city. In 2014, she received a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. In 2015, she was honored with an Ally Leadership award from Equality California.
