Lala Kent got engaged to TV producer Randall Emmett in 2018 after two years that they spent together, but reportedly they broke up a few years later while still engaged and with a young daughter. She is the mother of Ocean Kent Emmett.

Lala Kent started working at SUR, the Vandepump restaurant, as a hostess, with ambitions for an acting career.
