Professional Life

AuCoin debuted on television in several soap operas. He got roles in series like Guiding Light and The City. At the start of the 2000s, the actor started to appear in other types of television shows. First, he was in The Sopranos and Law & Order. In this series, he would go on to appear several times in different roles and would also be on various series. He also appeared in New Americans, Without a Trace, The Good Wife, Gossip Girl, other iterations of Law & Order, Blue Bloods, Elementary, The Following, Person of Interest, Unforgettable, and many more. In 2014, he got a breakthrough with his role in The Americans, appearing in a recurring capacity as Pastor Tim.

The next year, he was cast in House of Cards, the popular Netflix political drama. Then, in 2016, he was given the role of “Dollar” Bill Stearn in Billions, a drama series focused on financial crimes and wealth. Stearn would become a fan favorite and continue to appear throughout the show.
