Who is Cristina Umaña?
Born in 1974, Cristina Umana is a Columbian actress. Alongside acting, she worked in theater and on TV. Her career as an actress started in 1995 in the TV series Mascarada. However, her fame began in the early 2000s with her role in El Rey. Today, Cristina is widely known for making part of the Netflix series Narcos, as she portrayed Judy Moncada. Furthermore, her appearance in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, an Amazon prime action-thriller series, largely contributed to increasing her reputation in the industry and among the public. Additionally, Cristina is part of the Soap Opera Actress list.
Umaña’s Rise to Success
Cristina has always found joy in acting and theater. When she was a child, she joined theater and literature workshops, all while contributing to acting-related activities at school. Eventually, Umaña became part of the Las Escalavas del Sagrado Corazon de Jesus: a theater group at her school. Cristina majored in acting in Mexico, and she, later on, got an acting scholarship due to her outstanding talent. Accordingly, she got to perform in a youth series called Cartas a Harisson. Afterward, she was assigned the role of Robin in La Mujer del President. Her notable performance led her to win the Shock and Tv Novelas awards of that year. Indeed, these two achievements paved the way for her successful career.
Cristina Umaña prefers to stay silent about her private, personal life. Although she has not said anything about her relationship status, people began realizing that she is married to chef Koldo Miranda and has a son named Jacobo De Zabala with him. Cristina’s 526k followers first noticed Jacobo in one of her posts on her Instagram account.
