Kristin Booth grew up in a small town called Kinkora, which is located near the Shakespeare festival town in Stratford, Ontario. Kristin made her professional acting debut at the age of 12 when she appeared as an orphan in the summer stock production of the popular play Annie. Her first role in a movie came in 2003 when she appeared opposite Ryan Reynolds in the heist film Foolproof. Later on, she had two additional breakthrough performances, one was of a desperate crack whore in the Canadian drama film This Beautiful City, and the other role was in the comedy movie Young People F**king, where she joined the main cast and was awarded the Genie Award for being the best-supporting actress. Then in 2014, she appeared in the popular movie series Signes, Sealed, Delivered, where she portrayed Shane McInerney, a nerdy postal employee.

Then in 2018, Kristin was one of the four actresses who opened a lawsuit against Albert Shulz for alleged sexual harassment allegations, which were related to the time they were working together at Soulpepper Theatre.

Her film career

Kristin Booth can be considered a veteran actress as she has appeared in no less than 30 credited movie roles. Her very first appearance came in 1999 when she played a Cashier in Detroit Rock City. Then in 2000, she appeared as Diane in the popular psychological thriller film Gossip. This role was followed by appearing as Lauren in Cruel Intentions 2, although she wasn’t credited with the role (2000).
Then she played Sam in On the Line (2001) and also got to reprise her character in the spin-off movie Foolproof (2003).
She also appeared as Cynthia in 2007s KAW and played Abby in Young People F**king (2007).
She can also be seen in Defendor, portraying Wendy Carter.

Kristin has appeared in numerous short films throughout her career, some of the more notable ones being Bagged (Where she played Emma), American Wife (Playing Amy), Colleen Date in the 2010 short film Three Mothers, and appearing in Love Letter from an Open Grave, where she portrayed Lisa.

Recent roles that she’s been in

Kristin appeared in 2011s Cloudburst as Molly and Penny in Below Zero. Then in 2013, she was seen in Sex After Kids, where she portrayed Bethany. After that, she was cast in 2014s The Calling, where she played Grace Batten. Kristin took a break from filming for a few years after the role and only appeared again after six years when she played Marlene Truscott in Marlene (2020).

Her relationship status

Kristin is happily married. She met her husband Tim Ware at a party hosted by her friends in 2006, and the couple quickly hit it off. It wasn’t long before they swore their vows to one another and became husband and wife.
