Her early life and career beginnings
Stephanie grew up in Ontario, Ohio, with her single mother away from her Japanese dad living in Japan since she was a child. She enjoyed the outdoor activities that come with living the country life, making bonfires, and playing football games. At 18, Steph danced for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and with a drive to succeed, moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to scout for better dance gigs. In April 2013, Steph drove to an interview with Kris Jenner’s assistant, and dancing became a thing of the past. She got the job and met with the heavily pregnant famous reality TV star Kim Kardashian, her new boss, in her Beverly Hills home. Stephanie took over the planning of Kim’s schedule, doing laundry, her itinerary, arranging the stroller in preparation for North’s arrival, and staying until 10 pm, trying to prove herself. After four years of working with Kim, she promoted Stephanie to COO of Kardashian West Brands. Kim wished Stephanie well in her future endeavors, and they parted ways.

Her personal life
Stephanie initially dated a DJ she met through Kanye West, but they split because of their tight schedules. She met Larry Jackson, a friend of Kanye also, who won a Grammy Award for producing Jennifer Husson’s 2008 album. Although Jackson worked with Rapper Kanye West, they only connected while on tour at The Life of Pablo in Miami. She credits Jackson for pushing her to become better.
