Her early life and career beginning
Amanza, named after her grandmother, attended Indiana State University, where she graduated with a major in Interior Design. With her mother being Caucasian and her father a black man, Amanda is biracial and identifies as a black woman.
Her best friend, Jamie Ranah’s mother, whom she refers to as Shirly, assisted in raising and sculpting her into what she has become today.

Amanza married Ralph Brown, a retired professional football player and NFL star. They have two children, Noah and Braker, and split shortly after.
