Cheban was born in Moldova, part of the Soviet Union, but his family immigrated to New Jersey, where he grew up in Fort Lee. As such, he has a Russian Jewish heritage.

Cheban has famously been in a relationship with Becca Moore, on and off again. He used to date Anat Popovsky in 2012 but was single by 2013.

Professional Life

Cheban began his career working for Peggy Siegal at her public relations firm in New York. Later, he worked on Sean Combs’ 29th birthday party, which he organized successfully, and this led to him starting a new firm with other publicists, which he left to found his own company, CommandPR, in 2001.

Cheban first became a public figure when he appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians as he was a friend of the Kardashian sisters. In 2013, Cheban hosted Coca-Cola Red Carpet Live! before the American Music Awards.

In 2016, Cheban entered Celebrity Big Brother in the UK for the 17th season of the show but left it after only a few days. In 2017, he appeared on another British reality show, Celebs Go Dating. In 2018, he was on The Only Way is Essex, Food God, Celebrity Family Feud, and, in 2019, on Gemma Collins: Diva Forever, where he was given a recurring role.

In 2017, Cheban had a role in By Any Means, where he played Phil Cohen. So far, it is his only non-reality show acting credit.

Cheban has also shown his skill as an entrepreneur. He launched Kritik, a clothing line, in 2008. He also designed jewelry for RichRocks. In 2012, he opened Sushi MiKasa, a Miami sushi restaurant. 2014 saw the launch of Glam Screen, a cover and mirror for smartphones, and TheDishh, a website focused on entertainment and lifestyle in the luxury segment. In 2015, Cheban opened Burger Bandit, a fast-food restaurant in New York.

2019 saw Cheban launch a podcast under his Foodgod handle: Foodgod: OMFG!
