Reaser was born to Karen Davidson and John Reaser. In 1995, her mother married billionaire William Davidson. Reaser studied at Oakland University and the Julliard School’s Drama Division, graduating in 1999.

Professional Life

Reaser debuted in film in 2001 with The Believer and Thirteen Conversations About One Thing. In 2002, she was in Emmett’s Mark, followed by Mind the Gap. In 2005, she was in Stay, Sweet Land, and The Family Stone. In 2006, she appeared in Shut Up and Sing and Puccini for Beginners. 2007 saw the actress appear in Purple Violets. Finally, in 2008, she got one of her first more mainstream roles, as she played Esme Cullen in Twilight, a role she would reprise in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and Part 2.
