Freeman has been married twice. He was married to Jeanette Adair Bradshaw between 1967 and 1979 and to Myrna Colley-Lee between 1984 and 2010. He has four kids.

Professional Life

Morgan Freeman started his career in the theatre. In the 70s, he appeared in the children’s TV series The Electric Company He appeared in Shakespearean plays that earned him recognition, in particular, an Obie Award. In 1987, he appeared in the film Street Smart, which earned him a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor Glory, Lean on Me, and Driving Miss Daisy in 1989, allowing the actor to cement this fame.
