Heidi married stylist Ric Pipino in 1997. The pair sadly soon filed for divorce in 2002, citing that they had different life goals as the main reason for breaking up. In March 2003, Klum began a relationship with Flavio Briatore, an Italian managing director of Renault’s Formula One team. In December that very year, she announced that she was pregnant. The pair split soon after, and Heidi started dating the musician Seal. Klum gave birth to daughter Leni on May 13, 2004, in New York City. Singer Seal was present during Leni’s birth, and according to the actress, Briatore is not involved in Leni’s life in any capacity and has also stated that “Seal is Leni’s father.”
Seal and Klum got engaged in December 2004 on a glacier in Whistler, British Colombia, and were subsequently married on May 10, 2006, on a beach in Mexico. The pair have three biological children together: a daughter born in October 2009 and sons born in September 2005 and November 2006. Heidi filed for divorce from Seal on April 6, 2012. She also requested that her name be changed back to Heidi Klum. The divorce was finalized on October 14, 2014.
Later on, Heidi went on to date her bodyguard Martin Kirsten from 2012 to 2014.
