She is probably most famous for being the adopted sister of the popular actress Sofia Vergara and singer Veronica Vergara, as well as being a popular actress and television show host. Life before fame
Sandra knew she would like to become an actress from an early age, and she got a chance to show her acting skills in 2004 when she was cast in a role in the movie Days of Santiago. This initial role gave Sandra the recognition that she needed to be approached by other casting directors for other shows. Her first TV show appearance happened when she was 18 years old in 2006.
Sandra was adopted by her aunt when she was only a month old due to her biological mother suffering from serious health problems. Her mother, Margarita Vergara de Vergara, was a home designer, and her father, Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo, had a cattle ranch that he used for meat production. Later on, in 2013, she landed a role in the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful as Theresa Corazon for six consecutive episodes.
Regarding her more recent achievements, in August 2020, Variety announced that Sandra Vergara would be serving as the Los Angeles correspondent for People magazine’s new TV show People (The TV Show). The series premiered on September 14, 2020, and has seen positive reviews so far, streaming on Meredith’s local television streaming service and People’s website. She is also still starring as the co-host for the TV show Hook’d.
