Her early life and career beginnings
Isabella Khair Hadid was born to Palestinian Jordanian father Mohamed Hadid and a former Dutch model Yolanda Hadid.
Bella has two older paternal half-sisters, Marielle and Alana. Coming from a family of models, it’s no surprise that her elder sister Gigi Hadid and younger brother Anwar are both models. The family lived on a ranch in Santa Barbara but moved to Beverly Hills after ten years.
As a teenager, Bella loved horse riding and dreamed of competing at the 2016 Summer Olympics, but she couldn’t due to a diagnosis of chronic Lyme disease she had alongside her mother and brother.
She graduated from Malibu High School in 2014. She moved to New York City to study photography at the Parsons School of Design, after which she suspended her studies to concentrate on her modeling career.

She also broke the record for most Vogue September covers in one year.
She made her runway debut walking for Tom Ford’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection in February 2015. She walked for amFAR’s 22nd Cinema Against AIDS Gala, Tommy Hilfiger, Versace, Dior, Marc Jacobs, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Givenchy, Miu Miu, and many other brand names in Paris Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, and other big-name runways.
Bella starred in Victoria’s Secret Pink Holiday campaign, Topshop’s Holiday Campaign, and featured in Givenchy’s, Calvin Klein Fall/Winter campaign and shot an editorial for many magazines.
Bella’s palpable growth transcends beyond modeling. She is the co-founder and business partner of Kin Europhics, a nonalcoholic adaptogenic beverage brand.
