Her early life and career beginnings
Karlie Kloss was born to Tracy, a freelance director, and Kurt Kloss, an emergency physician. She has three sisters, and their entire family moved to St. Louis in 1994, again, moved to Goshen, New York, to support her modeling career in 2013.
She attended Webster Groves High School in Webster Groves, Missouri, a cheerleader and later enrolled in the Gallatin School of Individualized Study of New York University in 2015.
