Natasha O'Keeffe is a British television actress known for her role on the BBC3 drama series Lip Service as Sadie Anderson. She is also very famous for her starring role on the popular science fiction show Misfits, aired on the British E4 digital network. She has also acted in films like Filth and Svengali.
Family and Early Life
Natasha O'Keeffe was born on December 1, 1986, in Brighton, United Kingdom. She was raised by her father, Paul O'Keefe, and mother Caroline O'Reilly in Tooting, South London. Though she was born in Brighton, she moved with her parents to London at the age of 1. She is a British national, but her ethnicity is unknown. As for her education, she went to the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and acted in a number stage production.
She kick-started her career with stage productions and went on to make her screen debut in 2008 with the feature film Abraham's Point. She found herself in the media limelight after her appearance in the music video of “Falling Down,” where she portrayed a royal family member who likes to do parties, drugs, and one-night stands. The music video was presented by rock band Oasis, and it was the last single song released by them before the band was dissolved. In 2010, Natasha embarked on Sadie Anderson's role in the British drama series Lip Service, which revolves around the story of a group of lesbians living in Glasgow, Scotland.
After that, in 2012, she was landed the role of Abbey Smith in the British E4's comedy-drama series Misfits, where she worked alongside Antonia Thomas and appeared in the last two seasons. The show was about a bunch of young offenders who obtained mysterious supernatural powers. Natasha then starred in big-budget movies, including Filth and Svengali. The actress snatched more spotlight in 2013 for her role as Lizzie Stark in a well-celebrated BBC's gangster drama series Peaky Blinders. She has been a regular in the show since 2013. She has also played Emilia Ricoletti, The Abominable Bride in Sherlock Holmes, and Ross in Strike. In 2013, she also acted in the episode of Law and Order: UK as Connie Moran.
In 2015, she played the role of Fedora in ITV's drama series, Jekyll and Hyde. Her character was the side-kick and lover of the main lead. Other than that, she appeared in a music video for Daughter's song Numbers. The song was part of the band's album Not to Disappear.
