About Genelle Williams
Genelle Williams is a Canadian actress who is most famously remembered for her portrayal of Kim Carlisle in the popular Canadian teen comedy-drama television series Radio Free Roscoe, as well as being DJ in the teen sitcom The Latest Buzz, which ran from 2007 until 2010. She was also the innkeeper Leena in the popular American science fiction television series Warehouse 13.
Her acting career
Genelle began acting in high school after a teacher saw her perform in a musical and recommended that Genelle should pursue an acting career full-time, even going as far as to get her in touch with an agent.
Genelle’s breakout role was on the Family’s Radio Free Roscoe, which aired from 2002 until 2004. In 2003 Genelle played Kim Carlisle, a DJ for Cougar Radio and the love interest of Robert McGrath. Over the next three years, she also appeared in various roles in the popular CTV Canadian teen drama television series Degrassi: The Next Generation.
From 2007 she took a break from acting for a few years and only resumed her acting gigs in the Family’s new TV show The Latest Buzz, where she played Diane Jeffreys (DJ), the supervisor and editor of the young writers of Teen Buzz. Later on, she played Leena on the popular Syfy series Warehouse 13, from the very beginning of the series in July 2009 until the midpoint of season four, which concluded in October of 2012. Two years later, Genelle appeared on Lifetime’s American post-apocalyptic drama television series The Lottery. Genelle Williams also had a prominent role in the Canadian medical drama Remedy, where she played Zoe Rivera for 20 episodes. Later on, she appeared as Rachel in the 2014 TV series Bitten, where she also reprised the character for 20 episodes.
Her most recent appearances include Skyler Parsons in the TV movie Prescription for Danger (2018). Genelle also played Tilly Fagan for four episodes in the popular American science fiction television series The Expanse.
Her most recent credited role was in 2020 when she played Charlotte in the Canadian drama television series Family Law.
Trivial facts: Genelle Had a small credited role in the popular 2008 Marvel film The Incredible Hulk, which further increased her stardom.
Family life and relationship status
Genelle was the only child in the Family and grew up in Toronto, Ontario. She had a happy childhood and frequently visited her parents when she had the time on her hands. Actor Dean Armstrong helped Genelle to further improve her acting skills as they worked together for a considerable time. Genelle has said that he really was an important part of her development as an actress and helped her in numerous ways.
Currently, Genelle is single and hasn’t revealed anything that would indicate otherwise. Perhaps she wants to keep her love life private and hasn’t disclosed her actual relationship status to the public.
