Zosia Russell Mamet is an American actress and musician who is very popular and has been seen in various TV series and movies throughout her career, including the United States of Tara, Parenthood, and Mad Men. She has also played Shoshanna Shapiro on the popular HBO series Girls. She is currently also starring as Annie Mouradian in the HBO MAx original TV series The Flight Attendant.

Life Before Fame

Zosia’s childhood was spent growing up in Randolph, a small city located in Vermont. She is the daughter of the film director, playwright, essayist, and screenwriter David Mamet, as well as the actress Lindsay Crouse. Her father comes from a Jewish family, and while her mother is a devoted Buddhist, Zosia herself identifies as Jewish as well, taking after her father. She is also the granddaughter of the playwright Russel Crouse, and her maternal great-grandfather was the famous educator John Erskine. Zosia also has a sister, Willa, who’s a popular singer. She also has two half-siblings by the names of Clara, who works as an actress and director, and Noah. She used to live in New England until she was five years old, which is when her family moved to Pacific Palisades, California. Professional Career

She would first find fame after she was cast in a small role in 2004’s Spartan, where she played Bedouin Woman. She would also appear as Jenny in Off the Ledge (2009) and play Sasha in The Kids Are All Right (2010). She was also Bethanny in the 2012 film Sunset Stories before being cast as Z in Rhymes with Banana (2012. In 2013 she would also appear as Rhea Carver in 2013’s The Last Keeper. Next, she appears as Shiva in Bleeding Heart (2015). She would also go on to play Zoe in the film Wiener-Dog (2016). She also appeared in the short film Mildred & Dying Parlor. She also appeared in Dominion (2016) as Penny. The very same year, she also appeared in Goldbricks in Bloom (2016) as Cleo, as well as portraying Diana in The Boy Downstairs (2017). She was also Troy in Under the Silver Lake (2018). She would also be on to become Margaret in Alone Together (2022), as well as said to appear in the upcoming film Madame Web (2023).

Personal Life
