Who is Amy Steel?
Amy Steel is an American actress. Amy got into acting in 1973 when she began attending Westtown school of dramatic arts, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. After spending two consecutive summers training drama acting, Amy starred in the productions of Barley-Sheaf Players. Later on, she temporarily left the theatre so that she could pursue an academic career at the esteemed Kent school in Kent, Connecticut.
After studying there for three years, Amy Steel left for Palm Beach, Florida, to attend a relatively small college where she would go on to major in broadcasting and communications. It was at this point that the president of the renowned Elite model agency, John Casablancas discovered her.
Amy then left Florida and moved to New York in June 1979. When she arrived there, she was immediately offered various job opportunities in the television, film, and modeling industry. Amy has also appeared in numerous television commercials, hit movies, and soap operas throughout the years, making her a truly versatile talent.
As of today, she is mostly focusing on her acting career and continues to shine bright in front of the big screen.

She met her husband, Peter Pulitzer (An actor known for his work on Valeria Flake (1999) and Alone in the Woods (1996), while at a party that one of her friends was hosting. The pair quickly hit it off and have been married for over a decade now. They have beautiful daughters Charlotte Pulitzer and Emma Pulitzer.

When Amy first moved to New York to pursue her career as a model, she lived together with five other girls in a one-bedroom apartment which was located on 63rd and Lexington street. Amy had to sleep on the couch.
