Who is Omar Benson Miller?
Omar Benson is a known face of the acting world. You might recognize his face as Walter Simmons from CSI: Miami. He also appeared as Charles Greane on Ballers, working along with Dwayne Johnson. The popular actor currently stars in a CBS comedy called The Unicorn. The show follows the story of a widower who struggles to raise his two daughters after losing his wife to an untimely death. Omar believes that the show is what America needs at the moment, and it teaches the viewers to cope with loss through humor. Miller was born in Detroit, Michigan but was raised in Anaheim, California. Omar attended San Jose State University and graduated from there.

Professional Life and Achievements
Miller appeared on his screen in numerous roles, but he got his biggest role in 2008 when he was cast in the movie Miracle at St. Anna. He appeared in minor roles in many popular television shows and films, including Sex, Love, and Secrets, Get Rich or Die Trying, 8 Mile, and Transformers. Omar was a regular in CSI: Miami and appeared on screen in the character of Walter Simmons. Omar made his television debut when he appeared in an episode of the serial political drama The West Wing. In 2003, he appeared in the HBO television film called Undefeated.
Miller became a part of 2009’s science-based television series called Eleventh Hour in the character of Felix Lee. In 2014, he appeared in an episode of House of Lies. He also became a regular in an American comedy-drama called Ballers that aired from 2015 to 2019. Omar also gave voice to one of our favorite characters Raph in the movie Rise of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. One of his recent projects is The Unicorn which follows the life of a single father, single-handedly raising his two daughters after losing his wife to cancer.
Other than his spectacular television career, Omar also became a part of many popular films. In 2007, he appeared in several popular movies, including Transformers, Things We Lost in the Fire, and Lucky You. The very next year, he was again seen in Miracle at St. Anna and The Express: The Ernie Davis Story. Miller was cast in 2010’s action fantasy film titled The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, which was released by Walt Disney Pictures. In 2011, Miller provided the voice for the character of Horace in the 3D animated movie called The Loin of Judah. Miller appeared in 2013’s 1982 and Homefront. In 2019, Miller portrayed the character of Denver Rhodes in an American thriller movie called Above Suspicion.
Other than acting, he also founded the Omar Miller foundation through which he provides food for the LA residents using the leftovers from the film and TV productions. Omar made his directorial debut in 2007 with the film Golden Glass. He worked in numerous movies and television series, and through them, he entertained thousands of people worldwide, and he is still doing the same.
