Personal Life

Qualls was born Donald Joseph Qualls. At fourteen, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which stunted his growth. Nevertheless, he graduated from Coffee County Central High School and then attended King’s College London for a degree in English literature, and then enrolled at Belmont University in Nashville.

In 1994, Qualls appeared as an extra in Against the Wall. In 1998, he had a role in Mama Flora’s Family. In 2000, he got a bigger role in the film Road Trip, which kickstarted his career. After that, he would work as a model for brands like Prada. In 2000, he also appeared in Cherry Falls. The next year, he starred in Chasing Holden.
