Sydel Alicia Curry-Lee is the youngest of the three offsprings of Dell and Sonya Curry. During her early childhood, Sydel and her family moved to different locations in the United States before returning to Charlotte. She followed in her mother's footsteps; Her parents enrolled her in the girls' volleyball team when she was five. Volleyball is where Sydel Curry found her comfort. Evidentially, she continued honing her skills in the said sport at Charlotte Christian High School in North Carolina, where she captained the team for three years. Sydel helped her team fight through three-quarter finals and engrave a line in the records with the most wins for a girls' volleyball high school team. After high school, she got herself a degree in psychology from Elon University in 2017.
Growing the Curry Empire
Being a Curry girl, Sydel immensely helped to foster the family business and aided the family in immortalizing their name in history. Being born in an athlete-oriented family, Sydel Curry teamed up with multiple companies. One of them is Neiman Marcus, which helped her to advertise her brand A Curry Girl. This brand started as a website where Sydel shares thoughts concerning mental health issues.
It is of no surprise that Sydel possesses the Curry magic formula in her veins. Along with her family, they more or less represent the idea of a perfect American family. She expanded the athletic family bloodline by marrying current Atlanta Hawk NBA star Damion Lee. The two first met in college in 2016. Their story quickly developed on Instagram DMs, which led Damion to confess to Sydel later during that year. The two lovebirds got married in 2018 and have a dog named Quavo.
