Who is Matt O’Leary?

Matt O’Leary (aka Matthew o’Leary) is an American actor. He was first seen on the made-for-television Disney Channel Original Movie “Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire” (2000) and would later go on to appear in the popular thriller Domestic Disturbance (2001) where he starred opposite the famous actor John Travolta. Matthew has also had a supporting role in Frailty (2001), as well as the independent neo-noir film Brick (2005).

In 2011 Matthew appeared opposite Rachael Harris in the popular independent film Natural Selection. After that, he received a lead role in “Fat Kid Rules the World” 2012). Matt also had a small role in Gore Verbinski’s The Lone Ranger (2013), as well as having the lead roles in such horror films as Stung (2015) and Bokeh (2017).

Life before fame

Matthew was a very talented kid when growing up and knew he wanted to be an actor when he grew up. But luckily, he managed to get a role when he was still a child, becoming a child actor after he played the lead role in Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire.

In 1998 Matt auditioned for the lead role in Home Alone 3, but sadly he didn’t meet the criteria. But things took a lucky turn after he was subsequently cast in the lead role for the made-for-television film Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire. After that, he was working together with John Travolta, portraying his son in the popular thriller movie Domestic Disturbance.

His next roles would come in another thriller movie, Frailty, which was directed by Bill Paxton. After that, he appeared in the kid’s comedy Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams, which premiered in 2002, and both of the movies received positive reviews by the critics.

This gave Matthew the recognition that he was waiting for, and he became a really sought-after actor among the teenage actor’s audience.
In 2003 Matt appeared in the third Spy Kids film, Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, reprising his role as Gary Giggles. Although his role was small, he still enjoyed being able to reprise his role.

Matt also appeared in the 2004 drama The Alamo, portraying the Boy in store. Although he only had one line, it was still a positive experience for him.
Then in 2005, Matt appeared in Havoc as Eric. He also played Fred Botts in Warm Springs.

His later roles included such movies as 2011s Natural Selection (Where he played Raymond), In Time (Released 2011, where he portrayed Moser). Then in 2012, Matt was seen in The Lone Ranger (As Skinny), Pawn Shop Chronicles (As Lamar), Eden (As Vaughan), and Fat Kid Rules the World (As Marcus).

His more recent roles have included playing Paul in Stung (2015, POrtraying Frank Peluco in Morogna (2015), Playing Riley in Bokeh (2017), and appearing as Lieutenant Benz in the popular 2018 drama film Welcome to Marwen.
