Jacob Rives Pitts is an American television, film, and stage actor. He has plenty of notable performances to his name as Cooper Harris in the film EuroTrip (2004), as Bill “Hoosier” Smith in the HBO miniseries The Pacific (2010), and as U.S. Marshal Tim Gutterson on the TV drama Justified (2010–15). Pitts has worked as a stage actor and performed in the play called Where Do We Live at the Vineyard Theatre in May 2004. Moreover, he has also appeared in multiple TV shows such as Law & Order, Ed, and Sex and the City. He had a recurring role in the series The sinner and is currently appearing as Lance Lord in the crime drama series Sneaky Pete.

Early life
Pitts spent his early life in Weston, Connecticut, USA. He is the son of Arlene and Joseph Rives Pitts. Pitts has always described himself as a hyperactive child whenever he has been asked to talk about his early life. During his high school years, he worked with a theater production company and performed in various productions while completing his education. Pitts started his acting career in 1999. He first worked on the TV and appeared in an episode of Comedy Central’s sitcom Strangers with Candy. The same Award was also presented to other great actors including Jim Sturgess, Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth, Laurence Fishburne, Aaron Yoo, Liza Lapira, and Josh Gad for their respective parts in the movie.
