His early acting career

Cameron knew he wanted to act from an early age, and after graduating from high school, he took some acting lessons to improve his acting skills.
His first role came in 2008 when Cameron Kennedy was cast as Zach in the TV series Toronto Stories where he appeared for a single episode.
This was followed by his appearance in the TV Series The Latest Buzz, where he played Braydon in the episode “The Break-Up Issue” (2009).

After these two initial roles, Cameron was getting bigger recognition from other producers, and seeing how Cameron had stated in an interview that he was also interested in providing voice work in the future, he was offered the role of Takashi in the English dub of the Japanese anime Beyblade: Metal Fusion (2009).

His first movie appearance

In 2010 Cameron finally got to act on the big screen when he was cast in the movie My Babysitter’s a Vampire, where he played the confused teenager Rory who met a babysitter by the name of Janice and found out she was actually a vampire in disguise.

This movie role was followed by him appearing in another movie – Jesus Henry Christ as Jimmy Herman (2011).

Due to the success of My Babysitter’s a Vampire TV movie, it was brought back as a TV series in 2011, and Cameron was again cast as Rory Keaner and appeared in well over 26 episodes of the show, which ran from 2011 until its finale in 2012. The series saw moderate success but was sadly canceled after two seasons, although it has garnered a cult following, and there have been petitions to renew the show for another season, although it hasn’t amounted to anything.

His more recent roles

Cameron appeared in Where Do We Go from Here, a short film where he played Dennis (2012). In 2013 he was cast to appear as DJ in the episode Being Superderficial with Boys in the TV series Life with Boys.
Currently, his most recent role has been in 2014s The Present, another short film, where he played Little Fella.

After this role, Cameron disappeared from the acting world and has been living a normal life, having stated that the acting career was too stressful and if he were to return to acting sometime in the future, it would have to be for a project that he is really interested in.

His personal life

He’s working as a digital consultant now and has a girlfriend by the name of Brittani, with whom he’s been dating for over 5 years.
