I’m John (Kosif501). Ex-Army Infantry Airborne Automatic rifleman (111B) doing this for some fun and hopefully make a few friends along the way!
Please tell us about your Twitch Channel.
I stream to Twitch and a bunch of other platforms. I play stuff that is usually pretty niche (Story and lore are my favorite things), but I do like to jump into online matches and see how badly I get wrecked.
Please tell us about your journey.
Ex infantry, firefighter, Search and Rescue, Digital Evidence Technician and a DJ at two different stations. I grew up in Grand Teton National Park, so I read and played video games a good deal of the time. Huge environmentalist. Love Cats. I have two Ragdolls, Zora and Voodoo.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Empathy, being open to new ideas, and admitting when I was wrong or just straight up being an ass. Some lessons took a few times to sink in. You have to be able to take criticism, and use it constructively. Also, if you don’t know about something, don’t try to fake it. Just let them know.
Any message for our readers
Kindness and empathy are just the only way to get through this life. Also, It couldn’t hurt for everyone to take a History class and a Biology class.
