Christian Yu – Famous Musician

Who is Christian Yu?

K-pop is one of the most popular music genres in Asia. Numerous musicians have gained popularity by adopting this mainstream form of music as their careers. Christian Yu is also one of those musicians and known primarily for his pop music and eccentric style. He also goes by the name Yu Ba Rom. From 2012 to 2015, he also used to be a part of the music group C-Clown.

Childhood and Education

Born on September 6, 1990, on the outskirts of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, Christian Yu has been very private about his childhood. However, we know that his parents are from South Korea, and he is an only child. He graduated from a High School in Sydney. Later, he got admission to the University of Sydney, where he opted to double major in art and science.

Beginning of His Career

Christian was very inclined towards art from an early age and dreamed of becoming a professional dancer. However, fate decided otherwise. He dropped out of college before completing his double majors. After leaving college in Sydney, he flew to South Korea and settled in Seoul. That’s when he started taking music seriously and decided to pursue a career in the music industry. To take a step closer to his dreams, he joined a music group called C-Clown or Clown Clown. The group had Christian, Ray, Siwoo, T.K, Maru, and Kang Jun as members. They later became associated with Yedang Entertainment in 2012 and released their first studio song called “Not Alone.”

Rise to Stardom

Despite the mediocre success of their debut song, Not Alone, Christian and the rest of the C-Clown continued to compose music. Still, they had to wait until their third EP called “Shaking Heart” in 2013 to touch the sky of Stardom. Shaking Hearts topped the Korean charts, with its single of the same name ranked 37. Unfortunately, the group broke in 2015, but just before they disbanded, C-Clown released another EP called “Let’s Love” in 2014. The song also was an immediate success and ranked No.9 on the Korean Charts.

Before the disbandment, Christian revised his Instagram profile name to Christian Yu and released a statement: “they turned me into something that I am not. Never forget what I did for you”. This statement appeared on his social media account in April of 2015, while C-Clown announced the dissolution in October of 2015.

Solo Career

After parting ways with the group, Christian stopped making music but did not leave the industry altogether. He focused all his skills on composing and directing instead. He works as a chief editor and director for the DPR, an independent music studio. DPR stands for Dream Perfect Regime. This independent studio has gained a lot of fame over the past few years by collaborating with Bobby, DPR live, and many others.

Relationships and Girlfriends

The musician is very private about his dating life. Since he came into the spotlight, he has never been linked to anybody inside or outside the music industry. According to resources, Christian is single and entirely focused on his career as of now.
