Johnny R Sanford III, aka JRS3′ the HOBBY ARTIST, is an emerging hip hop/rap artist originating from Dallas, Fort Worth, Texas. Through music, JRS3 seeks to impact the listeners through his emotional music in which people can relate to. Through his experiences, he is able to create unique story-telling music that will grasp anyone. Within his first five years, he has been able to make a name for himself with his exceptionally good music.
Besides music, he also spends his time in songwriting and poetry.
How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey?
It all started in High School for me when I was in the A’Capella choir, where I learned how to read and write music. Five years ago, I purchased a MacBook Pro and some necessary equipment and taught myself how to create music with it and the rest’s history!
Who are your role models?
My parents and everyday people who work hard and never lose their faith.
What inspires you?
The will to succeed, and that’s fueled by my determination to accomplish my goals.

I founded JRS3 MUSIC LLC to handle the marketing, advertising, copywriting, and all the business part of JRS3. As an independent artist, I do it all singer, songwriter, video producer, and all the creative elements.
My latest single ‘Planet Suicide’ is due for re-release on 17th May, 2020. Do check it out!
What’s your most memorable experience?
Whoa…I was an extra on the set of Any Given Sunday the movie in Irving, Texas, where I meet LL Cool J, Jamie Fox, Bill Bellamy, and many other celebrities. I will never forget it, and I have the photos to look back at.
Which social media channels work best for promoting your work? What exactly do you do on the social media channel that makes it work for you?
They all work for me: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
What’s your greatest fear?
I have no fear!
Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?
Target marking and new social media viral advertising. I am still learning by the way…
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Bro…The try everything and never stop learning strategy. lol
What keeps you going when things get tough?
Finding my peace and Netflix and chilling.
