Rising Music Star Prentiss spreads his magic with his singles ‘Vampire’ and ‘I Like Myself’

Prentiss is an emerging artist who is getting a lot of attention thanks to the release of several amazing pieces. Vampire is the latest in a series of hits, and it’s quickly gaining traction and receiving positive feedback from audiences and critics alike. This, alongside another new release, I Like Myself, is making the rounds on the radio and streaming platforms to highly positive responses.

Vampire is currently getting a lot of airtime on the radio and is becoming a signature track for Prentiss. I Like Myself is not falling far behind: the track is being praised by many different viewers.

Prentiss’s music can be described in many ways and has a lot of strengths. However, one of the main elements that make it powerful is the groove it has. Prentiss makes funk and delivers flawless grooves with a lot of style and plenty of substance. In addition to funky, sing-along anthems, he also enjoys creating the occasional love song.

His music often takes real situations and transforms them into something interesting and new through his work. Rather than centering on experiences that are not real, he is focused on telling true stories and bringing this truth into his songs.

The artist was born in Water Valley, Mississippi. After this, he was raised in the Midwest. Currently, his life and career have brought him to Texas, and he resides in Dallas. Since his childhood, he has been immersed in all kinds of music, but funk has remained his favorite. During his childhood, what Prentiss loved about music and finds lacking currently is that artists were able not to take themselves too seriously and instead could approach their art with humor and levity. Funk, in particular, was an encapsulation of this kind of approach, and it became his favorite kind of music. However, it’s not all he makes. The artist also creates rock, funk, and more, often writing love songs and experimenting with other genres, styles, and emotions.

Prentiss’s latest releases are sure to thrill fans of funk music. This is an artist who is able to approach his work with a kind of lightness that makes it easy to engage with and very fun. It’s not meant to be taken too seriously, however, it is still very fulfilling and fun. It shows that the artist is doing what’s most enjoyable, and this leaves listeners singing or humming along to the music or having it stick with them over time. This is an artist to follow for fun bangers and music that can be enjoyed by anyone. The singer has a deep passion for funk as well, so fans of the genre are likely to adore his tracks.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Prentiss. Here are the excerpts from the interview.

Hi, Great to have you with us today! Please share with our readers about your journey.

Hi, from the day I was born, I loved music, imitating the popular music artists I saw on television. I joined choirs and did a few small bands briefly because music always came easy to me. I somehow fell out of love with music, blame it on sports. After joining the US Army and serving my country, I was honorably discharged after 6 years; I discovered Karaoke and was hooked again, lol! The feedback and the love was awesome. I decided to get back into my first love, music. My song I Like Myself (check it out on all streaming outlets) was so popular at this coffee shop that they would come out just to see me perform it. My sound is called retro, but to me, it’s just funky and good music.

Fantastic! So tell us, how can people find out more about you?

Please check out my music on Soundcloud, Spotify, and other outlets online. Can’t Get Enough and Feeling Good are my 2 CDs available for purchase. Please listen and enjoy.

Thank you so much, Prentiss, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
