Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
Hi, I’m Poet RLND. I’m a music producer, songwriter, and singer.
Please tell us about your EP.
My music is mostly R&B; I do everything myself, so my writing is based on my own experiences. This EP tells a story of how I was with someone for a year, and since I never said we were together, she was dating other people, and I just couldn’t understand, but I had a feeling, so I was Indecisive.
Please tell us about your journey.
My journey is just at the beginning, really. I’ve been working hard to give my music away, writing and producing for others, but it was either legal issues or I was not getting credit. So a major artist just told me to put it out myself because it sounds good with my voice. So that’s been my focus.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
The strategy I use is to just do everything from the heart, and I think people will gravitate to what they relate to. I still work a daily job, so my main goal is just to get my name out there and make good music.
