We had the privilege of interviewing the Artist. Here are some excerpts from the interview:
Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
My name is Chrishaud. I’m 30 years old and from DeLand, Florida. I’ve been dealing with music since I was 11 years old. I recorded myself for the first time at the age of 13 and used a real studio at the age of 14. I’m solely invested in creating my platform and making it solid.
Please tell us about your latest Album.
My latest album is titled “The Resurrection.” I was recently incarcerated for four years, and during that time, I learned a lot about myself, my lingo/delivery, and my wordplay. I feel like I was given a second chance at my music, so I changed my name to Mackaveli, and I felt newly resurrected.
Please tell us about your journey.
My journey has been a long one and has included many obstacles that I have overcome and am still in the process of overcoming. Being an independent artist without a big social media presence makes it somewhat more challenging, but I’m up to any challenges that come with the journey.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Strategies that have helped me stay focused are my kids, And chasing the dream I’ve always had since a pre-teen. Most of all, I just listen to other artists and stay inspired by their stories as well.
