We had the privilege of interviewing Gennadiy Strelkov. Here are excerpts from the interview.

Hi, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about your latest EP with our readers.

Hi, I have been a musician/music hobbyist for 15 years. The songs on this EP were recorded in my bedroom back in 2010. I never published them officially because I wasn’t sure how to market myself. But I finally released them under the artist name Jellyfish Bounty Hunter. And voila, this has been my most successful career moment thus far.

Please tell us about your journey.

I have been in several small-time bands over the years. Most of them didn’t see the light of day, but I’ve never really taken to the public quite like this before. I take composing very seriously and try my best to make things that I myself would enjoy, and sometimes surprise myself with what I create. I listen to many genres, and I am annoyingly picky about what I like. I feel all influences are deeply from these genres, and the choices I make in my music come from hearing them in my head. This forces me to engage with my songs slowly and elaborately so that I can communicate exactly what I want to say. But the bottom line is that this is truly just how I have fun, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
