Hi, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about your music projects with our readers.
Hi, My new record is “Just Outside of Town Vol.1.” It’s a collection of songs over the last 6 years or so that never found a home on a record, or were just released as a single, or were written for other projects.
In the years leading up to Covid, we played all over the East Coast at any venue that would have us. Then, when the world shut down in 2020, it was the first time in years that we actually had some time at home for a long period of time. Coming out of Covid, I wasn’t feeling very creative, and it’s been a few years since I’ve written anything. I suffered from horrible writer’s block and lack of confidence when it came to the pen. But the last few months, I’ve been writing and coming out of it. When I went into the studio to begin recording these new tracks, we had a bunch of old songs that we had lying around. So we tweaked a few things and finally put them together for a proper release.
I’m excited to share new music for the first time in years on the road in 2024. I don’t think they are my best songs, but they’re songs that I love and helped bridge some very important gaps in my life. “Worth Your Time” was essentially a diary entry to everyone in my life that’s close to me. It touches on wanting to make those around you who invest their heart in you feel like they got a return. “Something In The Night” was the first song I wrote that really got radio play. It came out about 2 weeks before the lockdown in 2020, and we never got to promote it really, and all of our dates on the promotional tour were canceled, rightfully so. “Made with You” was written about my incredible girlfriend (Now Fiancé), who honestly deserves a whole musical about her. Not just one song. It was written early on in our relationship. I knew I was in love pretty early on and thought to myself, “Uh Oh” haha. But she felt the same, and now I can’t imagine life without her. It was pitched to be on a Gavin Degraw record and was passed on. There’s also an acoustic version somewhere that was pitched to be the theme song for “Farmer Wants A Wife.” “In Luck” was about when my first serious relationship ended, and I was alone for the first time in my adult life. I had to tell myself it’s ok not to be looking for love. Just live a little bit. Then, out of nowhere…… there’s love again.
“Can’t Break Love” is my battle cry. That’s a thank you to my family and friends, primarily my mom, dad, and sister. No matter what I’ve been through, They’ve always stuck with me and taught me to hang on. It can all change in a heartbeat. But nothing can break love.
Fantastic! So tell us, how can people find out more about you?
