Hi Amie, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about yourself with our readers.
Hello, I am a singer and songwriter originally from Northern Ireland, but I’m based just outside London now. My debut single, Hypnotic, is an upbeat and catchy song that makes you want to get up and dance!
Please tell us about your journey.
I originally trained in musical theatre and classical singing, but I have always loved the idea of becoming a recording artist. Recently, I went to Troye Sivan’s concert in London, and seeing him on stage, doing all the choreography and singing, just made me realize that was something I really wanted to do. So you could say Troye was the inspiration for me to get started!
I then started writing one night, literally on my phone, and came up with the melody and added the lyrics. Then, I got the opportunity to go to a recording studio and have my song recorded and released, and here we are today.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Having a great support network of industry professionals and amazing friends and family promoting my work has been instrumental in helping me get started.
Any message for our readers?
I just want to say that no dream is too big; if anyone had told me two months ago that I would have a song released on Spotify, Apple Music, etc., I probably would have laughed at them. So honestly, just go out and do it because if it makes you happy, then it’s all worth it!
