Hi, Amariah Lodiong, age 7 years old, daughter of Anthony Lodiong, from South Sudan, KuKu Tribe: Mother is Dale Lodiong, from Mississippi, USA. Being Sudanese, Amariah travels to Uganda often to meet with her family and spread the love of God through ministry. Since birth, Amariah has always been considerate of others. As she began to speak, her concern was about how others were feeling and trying to make them happy. Her smile would brighten everyone’s day. As a happy child, she would always give her toys away and go without because seeing other children happy was all she needed. At 4 years old, she began taking her toys to Africa to give to less fortunate children. Amariah, at 4 years old, was delivering food to older people in her neighborhood. Full speed ahead, Amariah has spent countless hours volunteering in her community and abroad, which led her to receive President Joe Biden’s Presidential Volunteer Service Award. In 2023, at the age of 6, Amariah went on a missionary trip to Puerto Rico, where she worked with the Down syndrome community, worked with the elderly, and conducted rehab at a local church. She also worked in her local community by conducting street ministry with the homeless and visiting nursing homes, where she sang to the sick and bedbound. She volunteered regularly at the Salvation Army and raised a large amount of money for the foundation. In Africa, Amariah served at the refugee camps and conducted street ministry, where she gave Bibles to the African villages. She went on to visit an orphanage for Christmas, where she provided them with food, drinks, and toys. With all this volunteer community service, I guess you are wondering when she has time for leisure. Well, Amariah has a full schedule. During the week, Amariah has dance, piano, voice, acting, and gymnastics and participates in State and National pageants. She currently holds the title of Little Miss Fayetteville and US Ambassador’s Tri-State Princess.
Please tell us about Amariah’s latest single.
Amariahs latest single, which is getting worldwide recognition, is “Life“. Amariah wrote this song while spending the Christmas Holidays in Uganda. Amariah wanted people to know that God has blessed us with the greatest gift of all, which is Life, and that we should spend every moment doing our very best. She wanted to encourage children and let them know that if they Loved everyone and respected their elders, they would be blessed. This song touches everyone’s heart and speaks a word into their life. “For God So Loved the World that He Gave His only Son, that whosoever believed in Him shall not Perish but have Everlasting Life” John 3:16
Her second Single, “I will never forget you,” was inspired by her KUKU tribe in Uganda. Amariah wants everyone to know that they are important and their life has meaning. She gives a shoutout to family and friends in Uganda, South Sudan, and the United States. Regardless of who you are, your spirit lives on, and you are never forgotten.
What strategies contributed to Amariah’s success?
Amariah’s strong relationship with God is the one thing that allows her to be so pure. You can tell in her voice and the words that she speaks that she truly loves God and lives according to his words. She spends time with the Lord every Day and falls asleep at night reading the Bible. She is so humble but bold and confident enough to share the goodness of God.
