Rendezvous with Woman Entrepreneur and Founder of SynAArgy – Izabela Kwoka from Sydney, Australia.

Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Izabela Kwoka from Sydney, Australia. She is the founder of SynAArgy – a complete platform for accounting, taxation, advisory, legal, and corporate secretary solutions.

How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey.

I am a “North Shore Girl” these days, as they call me, meaning that I don’t venture often enough across the iconic Harbour Bridge. Sydney – arrived here from Poland in 2000 just after the Olympic Games. I followed my heart (and boyfriend at that time) as we thought of visiting this amazing city for a few months. Adam, the loved one, traveled ahead of me by two months as I had to finish studies in Europe. As you can imagine, young, in love (and silly) as I was back then, as I arrived here, I went to visit the world-famous Bondi Beach where I found another girl wearing my Adam’s jumper and the rest is history!

I consider Sydney my home. Originally I studied Business Administration and Marketing in Poland.

Shortly after I married, I decided to follow my instincts and get into bookkeeping and accounting. Numbers are always on my side, as James Bond would say. I love numbers and what you can achieve through them and with them. I love the Art of Accounting and the “game of numbers.” My passion turned out to be Assurance and Audit, where I have earned myself a reputation of sorts. For many years whilst at PwC, clients knew what they had coming when they saw my name on the list of Auditors.

My life changed once again in 2016 when I gave birth to twins Juliet Maria and Dominic Oliver, who by now are almost four.

Who are your role models?

My role models would be Victor Franckl for one (Austrian Psychologist and creator of Freud like “Logo therapy” treatment philosophy) but also every man and woman out there who perseveres through everything that life has to throw at them. And that is what inspires me most. Failing Forward like John Maxwell would say. Don’t be afraid to fail as if you do nothing; you are standing still, which is far worst.

Please tell us about your company.

I recently started a new business with a few business associates. Due to COVID-19, many operations in Sydney restructured, and we decided to do something we really always wanted. We created “SynAArgy”.

Where Synergy bonds with Accounting and Audit. Our claim to fame would be the Synaargy Fresh Start program developed for people starting up a new business and doing so for the first time. Joining us will give them comfort, guidance, and business support from all angles bookkeeping, accounting, HR all-in-one, so to speak and all for one monthly fee keeping it very low cost.

Which social media channels work best for promoting your work? What exactly do you do on the social media channel that makes it work for you?

All our social media is a global cooperation of team members working as partners side by side. Given our target market of a new business entrant, Facebook seems to be the strongest performer for us, but Google Ads is what we use most as the developed Google machinery can be scaled up or down as we need it; hence it is our most used tool.

What’s your greatest fear?

My greatest fear would be to see my children suffer in a world not worth living. These days I often look back and wonder what is happening with people? And I fear for my children at some point.

Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?

Looking back… well… not always easy… but I can say I wish I would have understood how marriage is a union of two equals and how both are responsible for picking up the other partner when he is down. A friend on mine (having been married for 40 years) responded to me one day when I asked him what the secret to a long marriage is “never fall out of love at the same time”!

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

The secret of my success? Do what you really like and what you can do well. Don’t be driven by money. This comes as a by-product when you do something you really love, well, for a certain time, and become even better at it.

Any message for our readers.

Don’t be afraid to fail or make mistakes. And treat others always like you would wish to be treated by them.
