Hello, I am the artist behind High Desert Expressions. We make luxury leather products and clothing.
Please tell us about your journey.
I grew up just outside of New York City in Northern New Jersey. Art, Culture, and Connection were the parts of life I was always drawn to. Observing life and all of its intricate puzzle pieces sparked a forever curiosity inside of me. Moving to Arizona later in life gave me more opportunities to explore my work and my passions and truly begin expressing myself through a paintbrush. The panoramic mountain views, bright blue skies, endless summers, and the vast varieties of cacti and wildlife here in the Southwest offer a peaceful place for artistic influence. I feel such tranquility in the desert that helps me quiet the noise of life and get in touch with freedom through expression.

The artistic expression found here is fueled by timeless inspiration, curiosity into thoughts, emotions, and patterns, and how all of these expressions come together to make something beautiful. What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Understanding that there is no final destination in art and the creative process. Constantly improving, being honest when something isn’t working, and never giving up on your dreams.

My goal is to make people feel as special and unique as they truly are when wearing these designs. I have noticed how differently people feel about themselves when they are wearing something beautiful, and it fills my heart with joy to witness this notion. The vast array of my designs, from neutral and earth-toned to wildly eccentric, offer a plethora of enjoyment.
