We had the pleasure of interviewing Alex, the co-creator of Space Zambonie. Here are excerpts from the interview:

Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.

My name is Alex. I am the co-creator of Space Zambonie. I manage the channel, help write and create the music, and create the animations for the channel.

Please tell us about your Album ‘Enter the Parodyverse’.

This is our first parody album. With “Enter the Parodyverse,” we wanted to let the nerdy side of us have some fun. We always do a lot of hypotheticals when we are streaming and decided it would be fun to turn some of those into songs. This is our first time doing a project like this, and it’s been a lot of fun putting it together and creating the music videos for it.

Please tell us about your journey.

When I was a kid, I always wanted to be in a band and to make music. I had a crappy garage band in middle school; we only ever “played” one show. And “playing” is generous. It was basically just a bunch of kids trying to do something none of them had the talent to do, but it was still fun. But after that time, I had the feeling of “alright I guess I’m never doing music” and that “I would never be cut out to make music”. But here I am years later, giving it another shot. And more importantly, it’s still fun.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

It took a lot of planning, writing, working, and trial and error to get here. It also took a lot of collaboration, with a lot of members of our team stepping up to help each piece of this come together. And without our producer, Juan, we wouldn’t even be close to where we are now. I think a big part of life is patience, and without it, it’s really easy to give up.

Any message for our readers

Life is about the balance of work and fun. If you have too much fun, you won’t get a lot of work done. If you work too much, you’ll never have any fun. Always try to find and operate in that sweet spot in between, and with that mindset, you’ll see a lot more things working out the way you imagined.

Thank you so much, Alex, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
