We had the pleasure of interviewing Shayne P Fayson. Here are the excerpts from the interview.
Hi Shayne, Great to have you with us today! Please tell us about what you do.
Hi, I’m a writer from Brooklyn, New York; I’m 33 years old. I create music, novels, and scripted television. Creating is a way of life for me. Education wise I graduated as an audio engineer from SAE I institute. I have been credited on IMDb for locations, editorials, and sound design, working on TV & film in NYC.
Please tell us more about your journey.
I did most of those accomplishments in a span of five years, starting around 2013. Coming from a broken home, I spent time in juvenile facilities and group homes up to the age of 18. Then, after somewhat getting my life together, I turned back to the streets; I went to jail for two years for selling crack cocaine in 2020.
Please tell us about your book ‘595 The Beginning.’
While in jail, I created a TV show called 595. This crime/urban drama is a timeline of true events; I have exasperated many events. This is the first book of four.
595 book one starts off with this entanglement of characters that are carrying burdens bigger than their own problems at hand.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
I’m still working on success, and I can tell you this, you will hear my name and see my face again and again and again lol 😆
