Rising Star EDDIEVOLUTION Drops Explosive Album ‘EVOLVED’: A Must-Listen!

In the rapidly shifting sands of the music industry, where artists emerge and fade in the blink of an eye, there’s a narrative that not only captivates but inspires. Jaylin Eddie, known professionally as EDDIEVOLUTION, is a testament to the power of personal growth, artistic evolution, and the undying passion for music. Born and raised in Killeen, Texas, EDDIEVOLUTION’s journey from a beat-making enthusiast to a full-fledged artist is a story of determination, talent, and evolution.

From Inspiration to Creation

At the tender age of 18, Jaylin Eddie embarked on his musical journey, dropping his first albums and planting the seeds for a career in music. Now, at 23, he has not only matured as an individual but has also refined his musical prowess, culminating in his latest album, “EVOLVED”. This album is more than just a collection of tracks; it’s a tribute to EDDIEVOLUTION‘s personal and musical growth over the years. Born on January 3, 2001, this self-taught musician has embraced the many hats of an independent artist—engineering, producing beats, and rapping—all crafted in the sanctuary of his FL Studio.

The genesis of EDDIEVOLUTION’s beat-making adventure was sparked by his cousin, a familial nudge that propelled him into the realm of music production. However, it was his connection with the renowned rapper Punchmadedev and their shared experiences as YouTube creators and gamers that solidified his path in the music industry. Despite the fame and success that brushed past him, EDDIEVOLUTION remained the underdog, quietly honing his craft and awaiting his moment in the spotlight.

A Sound That Transcends Boundaries

Jaylin’s musical influences are as diverse as his skills. Growing up, he was immersed in the sounds of rap and hip-hop legends, drawing inspiration from artists like Pierre Bourne, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Juice WRLD, and XXXTentacion. However, as his tastes evolved, so did his musical style. A regular at the gym since 2022, EDDIEVOLUTION’s playlist took a heavier turn, veering into metal and rock, with bands like Hybrid Theory and Blessthefall becoming his new muses. Yet, it’s the song “This Fire” by Killswitch Engage that claims the title of his favorite rock anthem, a nod to the wrestler CM Punk’s theme song.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Jaylin serves in the army, a commitment that speaks to his discipline and dedication. Since November 9, 2021, he has balanced his military duties with his musical aspirations, a testament to his determination to leave a mark on the world through his unique sound and vision.

The Journey Ahead

“EVOLVED” is more than just an album title; it’s a statement of identity for EDDIEVOLUTION. Each track is imbued with his experiences, growth, and the eclectic influences that have shaped his sound. Despite the challenges and the often-overlooked talent, Jaylin Eddie remains steadfast in his quest to be heard. His music is a call to those who have felt unseen, a beacon for independent artists striving to carve their niche in a saturated industry.

As EDDIEVOLUTION continues to navigate his journey in the music world, his story is a reminder of the resilience required to pursue one’s dreams. It’s a narrative that resonates with anyone who has ever dared to evolve against the odds, blending passion, talent, and the unyielding desire to make a mark. In the words of Jaylin Eddie, it’s not just about being seen; it’s about being heard. And if “EVOLVED” is any indication, EDDIEVOLUTION’s time to shine is now.

We had the pleasure of interviewing the artist. Here are excerpts from the interview:

Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us about your journey.

I’m Jaylin Eddie. I make music & was famous for 2K videos on YouTube (EDDIEVOLUTION ON YOUTUBE). The artist’s name is EDDIEVOLUTION now, and it used to be RAGE. I’ve dropped two albums already under the name RAGE on Apple Music / Spotify / YouTube of the names (WE WANT RAGE & AREA 51).

EDDIEVOLUTION

I was born and raised in Killeen, Texas, I was born on January 3, 2001 (23). I make my own music from engineering, producing beats and, of course, rapping on them all by myself at FL studio. My cousin was the reason i started making beats and the famous rapper Punchmadedev who i’ve met in 2015, we’ve played video games together and made youtube videos and blew up on youtube and became 2K youtubers and overtime started making music and he blew up overtime and i’ve been an underdog just making music for myself until it’s my time to blow. I feel the need to be heard because I’ve been overlooked all my life when it comes to talent and passion for music or anything I’ve done. I just need a chance to make it, and I’ll show the world some real energy.

I’ve grown up listening to a lot of rap hip hop artists, and over the period of time, my sound of artists have changed and I’ve become highly influenced by the new rappers, including mainly Pierre Bourne, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Juice Wrld, XXXTentacion, and so on. When i’m in the gym daily and have been since 2022 to now, my music has evolved into metal/rock music and i listen to alot of Hybrid Theory and Blessthefall but overall my favorite rock song is “This fire” by killswitch engage (aka cm punk theme song) lol. I’m currently in the army and have been on active duty since November 9, 2021, and I want to make it out by making music. I feel as if my sound is unique, and I want to be heard around the world for my independent talent.

Please tell us about your latest album.

This new album, “EVOLVED,” is my newest sound. I got the name of the album from my evolution as a person. I was around 18 when I dropped my first albums. I’m 23 now, and I’ve grown up, and my sound has changed a bit. So, it’s just dedicated to my growth and experiences in music.

Any message for our readers

My message is, give me a chance. I want to be at the top and give my love back to the people who support me. I just need one shot to blow up and make it all worth it.

Thank you so much, Jaylin, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
