Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Amy Riggs, who is a native of Arizona. She is a consultant and helps people build beautiful homes with her expertise in interior design. Let’s get started with the Interview.
Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us about what it is that you do.
I am a 5th generation Arizona Native born to a masonry contractor and interior designer. My natural aptitude for beautiful buildings, both inside and out, led me to run our Architectural Precast Concrete division.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
I implemented strategies to take my parents’ business from a mom & pop outfit to having 3 out of state distributors and the eventual purchase from a large stone company in Texas.
Any message for our readers.
My experience can help people benefit from 3 generations of knowledge without the expense of very expensive designers in town.
I want to combine my experience in beauty and my longevity in the Phoenix area to assist newcomers with things they may be unaware of. I don’t want new people in town to fret or stress about not knowing where to go. I personally have been in R&D for over 35 years. I know all the good/fair places to go for everything from pool maintenance people to exception landscape architects. I’d like to make all my knowledge available to anyone that could benefit from it!
I will never steer you wrong with food! And I am the originator of a “New to the Area” blog. Having been a 5th generation Native Phoenician, I feel as those I can help new people here.
If they need to know the best gas prices around, where to definitely not speed, and awesome restaurants, I highly encourage people to reach out to me as I will save them time, money, and endless driving.
