The Man Behind the Acceleration Project
JP is a man on a journey of evolution and growth, a constantly accelerating path to self-discovery. He was born in Darwin, Australia, the third of ten children. His education began with homeschooling, which gave him the chance to take an unconventional path to this achievement and also shaped an irreverent, independent attitude toward the traditional ways to do things. He was always guided by curiosity.
Mathematics, a love for space, and a passion for flight guided his journey. When he was just 14, JP got a private pilot’s license, even before he acquired a driver’s license. He would go on to study Aeronautical Engineering and graduate top of his class. Then, JP underwent pilot training and flew fighters all over the world.
In 2013, the author transitioned to crypto and began building decentralized applications; one of his biggest ones was THORChain, which he constructed using the pseudonym Leena. In 2024, THORChain was given over to the community, and JP revealed himself as the author of this biggest decentralized liquidity protocol globally.
