Gregor Vagner’s Electrifying EP ‘Beauty And The Beast’ Is a Must-Listen for Rock Fans

Gregor Vagner, affectionately known as Greggy among his friends, is not your average salesman. While he navigates the world of sales by day, his true passion lies in music. Greggy dreams of being a rockstar, and he’s not shy about it. His musical journey is a testament to perseverance, self-belief, and an undying love for rock ‘n’ roll.

Ticket To The Universe: A Solo Endeavor

Under the moniker Ticket To The Universe, Greggy has embarked on a solo musical project that showcases his multifaceted talent. His latest EP, Beauty And The Beast, is a six-song collection that delves deep into the realms of Rock, Rock ‘n’ Roll, and even touches on Hard Rock. Influenced heavily by legendary bands like Guns N’ Roses and Oasis, the EP captures the raw essence of classic rock infused with Greggy’s unique flair.

Listen to “Beauty And The Beast” on various platforms or directly on Apple Music.

What sets this EP apart is Greggy’s hands-on approach. He not only sings but also plays the rhythm, lead, and bass guitars. Except for the drums, which were recorded separately, every sound you hear has been crafted by him. Moreover, he took on the challenging task of mixing the entire EP himself, ensuring that every note aligns with his artistic vision.

A Journey Marked by Resilience

Greggy’s path hasn’t been a straightforward one. Starting from his teenage years, he played in several rock bands. Unfortunately, these collaborations didn’t pan out as hoped. Reflecting on those times, he admits, “Somewhere along the way, I always gave up. I guess I didn’t have the courage to go all the way and get my prize in the end.

However, these setbacks only fueled his determination. Learning from his past, Greggy realized the importance of perseverance. “I’ve learned that you should never, ever give up in life. Follow your dreams forever!” he emphasizes. When band opportunities dwindled, he took matters into his own hands, leading to the creation of his solo project.

Living the Rockstar Ethos

Music isn’t just a hobby for Greggy; it’s a way of life. His epiphany came during his high school days when he skipped class, went home, and immersed himself in Guns N’ Roses’ iconic album, Appetite For Destruction. The experience was transformative. “It blew me away,” he recalls. This moment solidified his idols—Guns N’ Roses and Oasis—who not only influenced his music but also his lifestyle.

Taking inspiration from Oasis’s Liam Gallagher, who once advised to “live every day like a rockstar,” Greggy embraced this mantra wholeheartedly. “Right now, I’m living like a rockstar every day. You can’t fake rock ‘n’ roll. You know that it’s real the moment your music sounds amazing,” he asserts.

The Road Ahead

With “Beauty And The Beast” now available for the world to hear, Greggy is more motivated than ever. While he acknowledges that six songs might seem modest, he believes in quality over quantity. “I decided to keep it short and sweet,” he notes, ensuring that each track resonates deeply with listeners.

Gregor Vagner’s story is one of passion, resilience, and authenticity. As he continues to chase his dream of being a rockstar, he remains an inspiration to anyone who has ever dared to follow their passion against all odds. Through his music, he invites listeners to join him on his journey—to feel the raw energy of rock ‘n’ roll and to believe in the power of dreams.

We had the privilege of interviewing Gregor Vagner. Here are excerpts from the interview.

Hi Gregor, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about your latest EP, Beauty And The Beast, with our readers.

Hi, My profession is a salesman, but I’ve got other plans. My dream is to be a fucking Rockstar! My music is proper Rock n’ Roll. My latest EP, Beauty And The Beast, is heavily influenced by Guns n’ Roses. It consists of 6 songs. I know what you’re going to say: that’s not a whole lot, right? But I decided to keep it short and sweet.

Please tell us about your journey.

My journey is such a long story. But I’m going to try and keep it short. I’ve played in several rock bands straight on from my teenage years. But it never worked out. And I only have myself to blame. Somewhere along the way, I always gave up. I guess I didn’t have the balls to go all the way and get my prize in the end. I learned never to give up in life, but it was too late then. None of the guys wanted to play in a band with me anymore. But the dream, my dream is still alive, so I decided to do it all on my own. And here is the result, this EP. When I was in high school, I decided to skip class. So I went home, smoked a fucking joint, and listened to Appetite For Destruction by Guns n’ Roses. It fucking blew me away. And still, to this day, they are my idols, all of them. They and Oasis showed me the way; they showed me how it’s done. Liam Gallagher once said that you should live every day like a fucking Rockstar. And I took his advice. And right now, I’m living like a fucking Rockstar every day. Cause you can’t fake Rock n’ Roll. You know that it’s real the moment your music sounds fucking amazing.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

I’ve been successful in a way that I got much better at music throughout the years. Singing, man, that’s what I most had to get good at. But I still don’t consider myself a great singer. I’m average. And as for musical success in the world, maybe considering the music industry, I still haven’t had it. I really don’t know what I have to do for my music to just magically blow up in the entire world.

Any message for our readers?

No matter what you do and no matter what you want to do in life, never give up. Never give up on your dreams, and keep on fighting till the end. You’re beautiful, you’re loved. Thank you!

Thank you so much, Gregor, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
